wall sawing / wire sawing / FLOOR SAWING

Wall Sawing
Wall saws are used for vertical and horizontal surfaces where the angle is too great to allow a floor saw to be used.  The most common applications for wall sawing are openings for doors, windows, vaults, foundations, ducts, large diameter pipes or for controlled demolition of most structures.

The equipment consists of a hydraulic or electric motor attached to a track that has been securely fastened on a surface. The motor is fitted with varying sizes of blades to enable a cutting depth of up to 1200mm.

The corners of an opening after wall sawing are not cut through unless the opening is cut past the connecting cut line. This is because of the use of round diamond blades. Where over cutting needs to be prevented, or represents a structural issue, a diamond chainsaw may be used to sweep the corners to a square cut.

Wall Sawing applications Include:
* Straight, smooth finished openings in walls, ceilings, and floors;
* Accurately sized, fixture ready openings;
* Confined spaces / restricted access areas.

Wire Sawing
Wire sawing originated in the stone quarries of Europe and has been adapted to become a fast, safe, and cost effective alternative to conventional demolition methods. Where sawing very thick, deep or hard to access material is required wire sawing is the solution. Many structures are far too large to accommodate traditional saw cutting.

A diamond wire saw consists of a steel cable fitted with diamond beads and a drive wheel that pulls the cable through the material, executing the cut with precision. This safe, cost effective procedure can be applied to structures of varying depths and lengths.

Wire sawing applications include:
* Allow for mass concrete removal without breakage while minimizing damage to structure;
* Perform cuts in remote, restricted, or hazardous locations, such as underwater or confined spaces;
* Cut through heavy rebar & embedded steel;

Floor Sawing
Floor sawing, also known as slab sawing, is used to cut horizontal flat surfaces such as concrete floors, tiles, pavers, brick floor, cobble stone, bridge decks, roadways and pavement. Floor saws feature a diamond blade mounted on a machine that requires only one operator, either walk-behind or ride-on.

Water is used to cool the blades and keep the areas dust free. We are meticulous about keeping our work areas clean. The water is vacuumed up and properly disposed of so that the site is always neat and clean.
Silent blades, and dry cutting systems are also available to accommodate for specific circumstances.

Attempting a floor sawing project can be very time consuming for your average person. Save yourself from serious danger and aggravation by contacting Online Concrete Cutting Services.

Floor sawing is the perfect solution for:
* Cutting expansion joints;
* Cut trenches for conduits;
* Removing damaged pavement sections;
* Replacing or repair of utilities without damaging or disturbing the surrounding surface areas by removing a section of concrete or asphalt to gain access.
